The Efficient Way if You Are Already on the Island

Short transfer, entry included, and the rest of your day still intact.

If you are staying in Victoria, this is the sensible version. The Gardens are about thirty minutes out at Brentwood Bay, so the trip is a half day rather than a whole one, and you keep the rest of your time in the city.
